Sano Onsen Fukunoyu
Fukunoyu is a destination for a high-temperature sulfate spring and a private bath, rather than a quick spa stop near Fukui Station. Confirm the day-use status and maintenance notices before making the trip.

A dated notice listed normal hours of 10:00–21:00 on September 7 and a maintenance closure from September 8–10, 2026; those closure dates have passed, so check for newer notices. The private bath costs ¥4,400 for 50 minutes, from 12:00–18:00, by advance reservation.

- The inn promotes spring-water bathing and explicitly describes the private bath as free-flowing. The current main pages do not republish a complete treatment table for every public bath, so the private-bath description is not extended to all public pools.
