Hita Onsen Gensenya Private Baths

Four indoor private baths, with enamel, hinoki and cut-stone options. The facility explicitly directs guests with tattoos away from the public bath and recommends booking a private bath instead; bring your own toiletries for the private room.

Check before bathing

Opening hours
10:00–20:00; private-bath admission closes at 19:00, and rooms may stop taking guests earlier when full. Closed Tuesdays, except when Tuesday is a public holiday. Private baths: 50 minutes for ¥1,300 (enamel) or ¥1,500 (hinoki or cut stone). Weekday solo use from 10:00 to 17:00 is ¥1,000.
Tattoo policy
Guests with tattoos may not use the public bath. The facility FAQ recommends using a private bath; this is the facility's stated option, not a general rule for other baths.
