Kinjo Onsen Motoyu
A convenient city-bath option for a natural spring at sento prices, with a clearly identified source-flowing pool, early opening, sauna and family-bath choices. It is a practical soak rather than a hot-spring-town or mountain-and-sea scenery trip.

- Opening hours
- Public bath 06:00–23:00; closed Tuesdays, or the following day when Tuesday is a public holiday. Closed on New Year's Day. Family baths 12:00–24:00; last reception 23:00.
Spring & water temperature
- Spring-source temperature
- Not published. Older facility information around 38–40°C is historical and not a 2026 re-analysis.
- Bathing temperature
- Not published. Older material described the first-floor source-flowing pools at about 37–38°C; this is not treated as a fixed 2026 pool temperature.
- Spring source
- First-floor public bath: Kinjo Onsen No. 1 spring. Second-floor family baths: Kinjo Onsen No. 2 spring.
- Spring classification
- Public bath: sodium bicarbonate-chloride spring (low-tonicity, weakly alkaline). Family baths: sodium chloride-bicarbonate spring (low-tonicity, weakly alkaline).
- pH
- Not published in the current 2026 main spring page.
- Flow rate
- Not published. An older facility article gives a historical figure around 400 L/min, not a 2026 re-analysis.
- Water handling
- The facility explicitly identifies the first-floor large bath and reclining bath as source-flowing. Equivalent conditions are not fully published for the bubble, jet and outdoor baths or the second-floor family baths, so the source-flowing claim is limited to the named pools rather than the whole facility.
- Analysis date

Bathing indications
The current main spring page does not provide a complete 2026 bathing-indications list suitable for this profile, so older or generic spring indications are not substituted.
Adult public-bath admission is ¥500; the sauna costs an additional ¥200. The family-bath floor has 14 rooms: nine bookable in advance and five walk-in. The first-floor bath does not provide complimentary body wash, shampoo or conditioner.
How to read a bath profile
Spring-source temperature and actual bathing temperature are kept separate. Each score is shown independently for comparison rather than collapsed into one overall score.
