One of Hakusan's strongest road-trip stops if you want an early soak, open-air bath, sauna or sunset over the Sea of Japan near the Hokuriku Expressway. Choose a mountain municipal bath if your priority is the lowest admission or a quieter setting.

Water handling
Hakusan City, the Hakusan Tourism League and the operator confirm a natural chloride spring. Facilities include a large bath, open-air bath, sauna, shallow pool and reclining bath. Current 2026 pages do not give complete treatment details for water addition, heating, circulation filtration, disinfection or overflow for each pool, so the baths are not described as entirely source-flowing.

Bathing indications

Hakusan City's current page lists general bathing indications including neuralgia, muscle and joint pain, frozen shoulder, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive conditions, haemorrhoids, sensitivity to cold, fatigue, cuts, burns, chronic skin conditions and chronic gynecological conditions. These are not treatment guarantees.

Current main pages do not provide complete pool-by-pool information on water addition, heating, circulation, disinfection or overflow.

Admission in 2026 is ¥530 for adults, ¥150 for elementary-school children and ¥100 for children aged 3 and older. The operator confirmed reopening on 23 April 2026 and continues to update its event calendar.
