Shin-Chugu Onsen Center

A useful ¥400 natural-spring stop when visiting Nakamiya, Sena or the Hakusan foothills. It is less practical from central Kanazawa without a car or frequent public transport. Do not confuse the separate Kuroyuri inn's 2026 closure with the status of this center.

Water handling
Hakusan City's current municipal-bath page and the designated operator confirm the center uses a natural bicarbonate-sulfate spring. The bath has a large rock-built pool. Current 2026 pages do not provide complete details on water addition, heating, circulation filtration, disinfection or overflow, so it is not described as entirely source-flowing. Kuroyuri inn's source-flowing and drinking-water information is not applied to this center.

Bathing indications

Hakusan City's current page lists general bathing indications including neuralgia, muscle and joint pain, frozen shoulder, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive conditions, haemorrhoids, sensitivity to cold, fatigue, cuts, burns and chronic skin conditions. These are not treatment guarantees.

Current main pages do not fully specify water addition, heating, circulation filtration, disinfection or overflow for each pool.

Admission is ¥400 for adults, ¥100 for elementary-school children and ¥50 for children aged 3 and older. Hakusan City says the separate Kuroyuri inn in the same area has no operating plan for fiscal 2026; that does not mean this center is closed.
