Spring & water temperature
- Spring-source temperature
- Not published. The approximately 60°C figure refers to the heated sand, not the source water.
- Bathing temperature
- No fixed pool temperature is published.
- Spring classification
- A natural hot spring. A complete current classification is not published on the facility's 2026 official pages.
- pH
- Not published on the current official pages.
- Flow rate
- Not published.
- Water handling
- Spring heat warms the natural silica sand used for the sand bath. Treatment details for the ordinary bathing pools are not fully published; the sand bath itself is not a water pool.
Bathing indications
The facility presents the sand bath as a warming and relaxation experience; it is not a promise to treat back pain, sensitivity to cold or other conditions.
The facility operator's February 2026 schedule takes precedence over older town pages that still show different sand-bath hours and closure days. The ¥440 ordinary-bath price is separate unless you buy the sand-bath ticket.
How to read a bath profile
Spring-source temperature and actual bathing temperature are kept separate. Each score is shown independently for comparison rather than collapsed into one overall score.
