Suki, Kobayashi, Miyazaki Prefecture
Kajika-no-Yu, Sukimuland Onsen
A strong low-cost choice for natural spring water, sauna and a forest-side cooling terrace. A direct community bus has served the bath since 2026, but departures are limited, so plan around the timetable rather than treating it as a quick stop.

Spring & water temperature
- Spring-source temperature
- Not published as a current value. Older third-party analysis figures are not reused.
- Bathing temperature
- Not published for the indoor baths or spring-water cold bath.
- Spring source
- The spring used by Kajika-no-Yu; the current facility page does not publish a well number.
- Spring classification
- Simple hot spring.
- pH
- Not published in current 2026 first-party information.
- Flow rate
- Not published in current 2026 first-party information.
- Water handling
- The facility identifies itself as a natural hot-spring bath and also lists a cold bath using spring water. After pump failures, the bath temporarily used heated municipal water in 2024; spring water was restored in February 2026, followed by another pump failure and a temporary suspension after Legionella levels exceeded the standard. Kobayashi City announced reopening on 29 April 2026 after repairs, cleaning and a public-health reinspection. Current pages do not detail each pool's water treatment, so no full source-flowing claim is made.
Bathing indications
The facility lists general bathing indications including neuralgia, muscle and joint pain, frozen shoulder, stiffness, sensitivity to cold, fatigue and health maintenance. These are not a treatment guarantee.
The facility reopened 29 April 2026 after inspection and repair. Check for new notices before travelling. Tattoo policy is not confirmed.
How to read a bath profile
Spring-source temperature and actual bathing temperature are kept separate. Each score is shown independently for comparison rather than collapsed into one overall score.
