A year-round choice at the end of the Nyuto bus route, with source-flowing baths and a forest-side outdoor bath. It is a poor fit if you need an elevator, card payments or a private bath.

- Open year-round. Overnight guests may bathe until midnight after check-in, then again from 05:00 the next morning. The mixed outdoor bath is reserved for women from 19:30–20:30; during that hour, the Hinazakura outdoor bath is reserved for men.
- Access
- The Ugo Kotsu Nyuto Line terminates at Nyuto Ganiba Onsen, directly in front of the inn. The inn does not provide a free shuttle from Tazawako Station.

- The inn states that its baths use 100% source-flowing water. The wooden and rock baths and the Hinazakura women's outdoor bath use Ganiba Iō; the mixed Karako outdoor bath uses Karako. These sources are kept distinct.
Bathing indications
The inn lists general bathing indications including neuralgia, muscle and joint pain, frozen shoulder, limited movement, bruising, chronic digestive complaints, haemorrhoids, sensitivity to cold, recovery after illness and fatigue. Some springs also list cuts, high blood pressure and chronic skin conditions. These are Japanese hot-spring indications, not a treatment guarantee.
All guest rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. The inn does not offer free transfers from Tazawako Station. It accepts cash, not credit cards, according to its current information. Tattoo policy is unconfirmed.
