- Natural spring water is drawn from about 1,200 m underground and heated for bathing; the facility says water may be added depending on conditions. The open-air natural spring, carbonated bath and milky bath are separate features and should not be assumed to share the same supply conditions.
Bathing indications
The facility lists general spring indications including cuts, burns and dry skin, as well as general hot-spring indications such as neuralgia, muscle and joint discomfort, and fatigue. This is not a treatment guarantee.
From 4 September 2026, the men's milky bath was temporarily running as a plain-water bath because of equipment trouble; the women's bath was operating normally. Check for a repair update before visiting. Children may bathe with an adult of another gender only if they are both under 7 years old and under 120 cm tall. Children below junior-high age may not use the baths or heated stone area alone.
