Taki Ichijiku Onsen
A worthwhile detour on the Taki coast or a drive toward Iwami Ginzan, especially if you want to compare two different springs. It is not a convenient add-on for a short stop in central Izumo.

Spring & water temperature
- Spring-source temperature
- Hisamura Onsen 50.1°C; No. 2 source 57.5°C, according to the current facility analysis page.
- Bathing temperature
- No fixed bath temperature is published.
- Spring classification
- Two springs are used: Hisamura Onsen is a sodium-calcium chloride-sulfate spring; No. 2 is a sodium sulfate-chloride spring. Their temperatures and pH values are not interchangeable.
- pH
- Hisamura Onsen 8.1; No. 2 source 7.5.
- Flow rate
- Not published.
- Water handling
- The main natural-spring pools, Hime-no-Yu and Kaijin-no-Yu, are described as source-flowing. The medicinal-herb bath uses circulation and the second source. The two sources are assigned to the men's and women's areas on a daily rotation.
Men's and women's areas switch daily, so the spring you want may not be assigned to your side on a given day. The medicinal-herb bath is circulated, not source-flowing.
How to read a bath profile
Spring-source temperature and actual bathing temperature are kept separate. Each score is shown independently for comparison rather than collapsed into one overall score.
