Haraigawa Onsen
A remote sulfur-spring bath with source-flowing water in the pools and taps, plus three private family baths. Call before driving out: spring-equipment problems can cause temporary closures, and official sources disagree about some closure dates.
Check before bathing
- Opening hours
- 10:00–20:30; last admission 19:30. Uwajima City's current page lists Thursday, December 31 and January 1 as closing days. Adults ¥450, children ¥150 and seniors aged 65 and over ¥350. Private baths for 50 minutes: Momiji-yu ¥1,350; Sagi-so and Rindo each ¥1,200. The tourism association still lists additional monthly closures on the 1st and 20th, so call ahead to resolve the discrepancy.

Bathing indications
Uwajima City lists general bathing indications; these are informational and not a treatment guarantee.
A spring-equipment fault can close the bath temporarily. Official pages differ about the 1st and 20th of the month; call before a long drive. Public transport is limited to a weekday community-bus connection from Iwamatsu.
How to read a bath profile
Spring-source temperature and actual bathing temperature are kept separate. Each score is shown independently for comparison rather than collapsed into one overall score.
