Ryujin Onsen Motoyu
Motoyu is the easiest baseline for a first day-use visit to Ryujin Onsen: it has long usual hours, a riverside outdoor bath and a published source profile. Check the seasonal timetable before making the drive.

- The Wakayama Onsen Association describes a combination of circulation filtration and free-flowing water. The small bath is free-flowing; the large indoor bath and outdoor bath are heated and receive flowing spring water, with circulation filtration also in use. No water is added. The whole facility should not be described as fully discharge-only.
Bathing indications
The official page lists general bathing indications including chronic skin conditions, neuralgia, muscle and joint pain, cuts and burns. These are not treatment guarantees.
The bath combines free-flowing water and circulation filtration. There is no added water; some pools are heated. Water is fully replaced daily, and filtration uses chlorine-based chemicals and silver ions.
