A clear first choice for a single low-cost day bath in Hijiori if you want to compare a regular hot spring with a distinctive carbonated spring. Car-free visitors should allow time to get there from the main hot-spring town.

Bathing indications
The official page lists general bathing indications for the hot spring, including cuts, chronic skin conditions, neuralgia and sensitivity to cold. Carbonated spring water also has a separate drinking-use description. Neither is a treatment guarantee.
Adult admission is ¥500. The outdoor bath alternates between men and women and has no washing area. Hours vary substantially by season, and temporary closures may occur.
