Kiwado Onsen, Heki, Nagato, Yamaguchi Prefecture
Kiwado Onsen Exchange Center
A very good fit for a low-cost sea-view soak during a drive through northern Nagato. It is less convenient if you rely on public transport or need a private bath or full spa facilities.

Bathing indications
Nagato City lists general bathing indications including neuralgia and chronic digestive complaints. This is not a promise of personal treatment effects.
The boiler-failure closure in August 2026 ended when the facility reopened on 7 August. An earlier temporary outdoor-bath closure in November 2023 also ended that month; the current tourism page lists the outdoor bath as available. The 31.2°C figure is a source value, not a fixed bathing-pool temperature.
How to read a bath profile
Spring-source temperature and actual bathing temperature are kept separate. Each score is shown independently for comparison rather than collapsed into one overall score.
