Is Attamari Land Fukabori Open? Its 2026 Day-Bathing Closure, Explained

Attamari Land Fukabori’s day baths remained closed in the September 27, 2026 notice; October was a target, not a confirmed reopening date.

Checked: September 27, 2026

If you are searching for Attamari Land Fukabori’s hours or admission price, the important detail is easy to miss: the day-use bathing facility is closed for repairs. The operator’s June 19, 2026 notice says a section of the bathhouse ceiling fell and repair work was needed. It expected the baths to reopen sometime in October, but that is a target, not a confirmed date.

The latest operator notice available when checked on September 27 still described the work and did not announce that bathing had resumed. Oishida Town’s May 29 notice likewise says day-use bathing is suspended until further notice. Do not make the trip for a soak based on the regular hours shown elsewhere on the site.

QuestionWhat the official information says
Are the day-use baths open?No reopening notice was found as of September 27, 2026
Why are they closed?Repair work after a section of the bathhouse ceiling fell
Reopening dateThe operator expected a reopening in October; no specific date was confirmed
Are all services closed? No. The June 19 notice says the inn, restaurant, shop and banquet services continue operating normally
Usual adult bath price¥500, but this is not currently a usable admission offer
Usual hours8 am–9 pm, last reception 8:30 pm; these do not apply during the suspension

What the closure notices establish

Oishida Town announced the suspension on May 29, saying that a facility problem meant day bathing would be unavailable for the time being. The operator added detail on June 19: repairs were needed after a ceiling panel fell in the bathhouse, and it was aiming for an October reopening. The same notice explicitly separates those baths from the inn, Restaurant Sakura, shop and banquet business, which it said would continue as usual.

As of September 27, the operator’s announcement page still carried the repair notice, while the town’s notice had not been replaced with a reopening announcement. That supports a careful conclusion—day-use bathing remains unconfirmed and should be treated as unavailable—not a claim that the entire complex has permanently closed or that October reopening is guaranteed.

The operator’s pages still display regular facility information, including 8 am–9 pm opening hours, last reception at 8:30 pm, a ¥500 adult admission and a monthly fourth-Tuesday closure. These are the normal operating details. They do not override the current suspension notice. The same applies to old blog posts and travel listings that show the regular price without mentioning the repair.

What may still be open

The June 19 operator notice says the accommodation building, Niji-no-Yakata, Restaurant Sakura, the shop and banquet services are operating normally during the repair period. That is a statement from the notice, not a guarantee that every service is available on every date; contact the property before making a separate booking for a meal or stay.

The regular day-use facility has a large public bath, massage bath, reclining bath, sauna and outdoor baths. Its normal adult admission is listed as ¥500, with ¥100 for children. Those details can help identify the place, but until reopening is confirmed they should be read as the usual setup—not as services currently available.

When to check again

Look for a dated reopening notice on the operator’s news page or confirm directly with the facility at +81 237-35-5055. If the October target passes without a specific announcement, do not infer either a delay or a reopening from the calendar alone. A fresh notice is the evidence you need.

If you need another bath in the area while Fukabori is closed, Murayama’s Kuahouse Goten and Higashine’s Komatsu-no-Yu or Ootayu are separate facilities; check their own hours before travelling.
