Okuyama Ryokan uses three springs across its indoor bath, mixed outdoor bath and large outdoor bath. One admission covers the three bathing areas when open. The large outdoor bath normally closes for winter, and natural water temperature can change with weather. A September 2026 closure was scheduled for the 8th and 9th, with reopening planned for the 10th subject to spring conditions.

The inn was scheduled to close September 8–9, 2026, with day-use reopening planned for September 10 at 10:30, subject to spring conditions. The large outdoor bath normally closes from November to late May. Tattoo rules are unconfirmed.
