Settsukyo Hananosato Onsen Sansuikan
A good fit if you want Settsukyo's natural scenery and two distinct spring types in one visit. It is less convenient than a station-area bath, but the inn setting and riverside outdoor bath are its main strengths.

- Water handling
- The indoor public bath uses the No. 1 spring. The outdoor bath is supplied with water transported from the No. 2 spring at sister property Shofuen. The operator says this transported water cannot fully reproduce Shofuen's original spring. The two springs should not be treated as having the same supply conditions.

Bathing indications
The operator lists general bathing indications for both springs, including neuralgia, muscle and joint pain, sensitivity to cold, fatigue, cuts, burns and chronic dermatitis. These are not a guarantee of medical benefit.
Day-use bathing is 11:30–15:00 and 16:00–20:00, with cleaning from 15:00–16:00; last admission is 19:00. Admission is ¥1,400 for adults and ¥800 for children, including a rental towel. The outdoor bath may close in bad weather. The practical complimentary day-use shuttle options listed by the operator are the 11:00 departure from Takatsuki Station and the 15:00 departure from the inn; do not assume other shuttles intended for overnight guests can be used for a round trip.
