Water handling
The ten special rooms have 24-hour panoramic indoor baths described by the hotel as 100% free-flowing spring water. The public Kodachi-no-Yu is listed as using Yufuin water with added water, heating and free-flowing supply. These are different arrangements. The standard Japanese-style rooms do not have natural-spring indoor baths.

A special room's bath is an indoor panoramic bath, not an outdoor bath. Public baths change sides between morning and evening; the sauna is listed for evening only. Tattoo rules are unconfirmed.
