Tower Eleven Onsen at Hokkaido Ballpark: Tickets, Bathing and Game-Day Access
At Hokkaido Ballpark, Tower Eleven pairs gender-separated baths with a swimsuit-only shared sauna. Compare game-day and regular tickets, then check the shuttle.
Tower Eleven Onsen & Sauna makes the most sense as part of a visit to Hokkaido Ballpark F Village. It combines a gender-separated hot-spring bath with a swimsuit-only shared sauna and bathing area overlooking the field. On a game day, some tickets also include ballpark admission; on a non-game day, the visit is simpler and usually cheaper.
That distinction matters before you book. This is not a conventional mixed-gender nude bath, and a game-day ticket is not just a more expensive bath pass.
Choose the ticket by the day, not just by the bath
On a non-game day, general admission is ¥2,500 for adults, with the bathing area open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. This is the straightforward option if you want to visit without paying for a baseball game. Towels are included. Children from age four through elementary school pay half price; children under four are free on the eligible ticket types listed by the venue.
On game days, adult general tickets start at ¥4,000 and include ballpark entry as well as the bath. Bath-only tickets at ¥2,500 are available for specific windows after a day game or before a night game. Those slots are time-limited, so check the date’s ticket page before planning around one. Reserved seats in the shared terrace area are separate products and cost more.
Swimsuit and sauna-wear rentals are available in limited quantities and sizes. Bring your own swimsuit if you want to use the shared zone, especially on busy game days. The standard bath towel and face towel are included in the admission ticket.
The shared area has a dress code
The third-floor facility has two different bathing experiences. The conventional baths are separated by gender and used without swimwear, as at a typical Japanese public bath. The “Totono-e Terrace” is shared by all genders, but swimwear or approved sauna wear is required there. It contains the sauna, cold bath, hot spring bath and seating with views toward the field.
So couples and mixed-gender groups can use part of the facility together, but not every bath. If you only plan to use the gender-separated baths, you do not need a swimsuit. If the point of your visit is to sauna or soak together while watching the game, you do.
The facility identifies its bath as a natural hot spring. Its current public-facing ticket information does not provide a complete, pool-by-pool water-treatment table or a current analysis sheet. It is therefore safer to call it a natural-spring facility than to assume every pool is untreated, unheated source water.
Getting there from Sapporo or the airport
From Sapporo Station, the JR Rapid Airport train takes about 17 minutes to Kitahiroshima Station. From New Chitose Airport, the same rail route takes about 21 minutes. At Kitahiroshima, leave from the west exit for the F Village shuttle; the ride takes about five minutes.
From March 1, 2026, the one-way shuttle fare is ¥250 for adults and ¥130 for children. Service intervals and bus arrangements can change with the event calendar, so check the day’s access notice before leaving.
This is an easy add-on if you are already visiting the ballpark or travelling between Sapporo and the airport. It is a less efficient choice for a quick evening soak from central Sapporo: the train is short, but the station transfer and shuttle still take planning.
When this stop earns its place
Go on a non-game day for the simplest bath-focused visit. Pick a game-day ticket if watching baseball from the bathing or sauna area is part of what you want; verify that the ticket you select includes the access you expect. Guests with tattoos should read the current terms carefully: the venue permits use only when tattoos are fully covered in the specified areas, and the rules differ between the shared and gender-separated zones.
Tower Eleven is a different proposition from a conventional hot-spring town: the ballpark setting and shared swimsuit zone are the reason to choose it.
