Late-Night Onsen in Kawasaki: Last Entry and Closing Times by Day

For a late bath in Kawasaki, “open until midnight” does not tell you how late you can arrive. One facility stops entry at 11:30 p.m., another closes the bathing area before the building, and Yuiru’s final admission changes with the calendar. Use the day-of-week table first, then check your trip back.

Yuiru gives the Friday and holiday-eve schedule to weekday eves, and its longer Saturday schedule also applies to certain holiday eves. Confirm the exact date on the official page if your visit falls near a public holiday. Shiraku opens later at 3 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month except August; maintenance notices can alter other dates.

What still works after 10 p.m.?

On an ordinary weekday, Chitose is the cheapest late stop if it is not Friday. Its closing time is midnight, but the facility does not publish a separate last-admission time on the main fee page. Arrive with enough time to bathe and change before closing rather than treating midnight as an arrival target.

Shiraku is open to midnight, although the bath and changing rooms must be vacated by 11:45 p.m. It is a better fit if you want a walk back to Yako Station, not a last-minute bus. On the third Wednesday, its later opening means the evening window is shorter.

Kirari’s clear cutoff is last admission at 11:30 p.m. Bedrock bathing ends at 11 p.m. and has its own final reception at 10:30 p.m.; the weekday ¥400 late rate after 9 p.m. does not extend those hours. From Mizonokuchi, check the return bus before you decide how long to stay.

Yuiru is the most important one to check by date. It closes at 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday unless the next day is a holiday; on Friday and some holiday eves it stays open until midnight. Sundays and public holidays that are not eves close at 11 p.m. The last-entry deadline comes an hour before close. A late visit also means relying on the Kawasaki Station bus route or a currently operating shuttle, so the return trip needs its own check.

If you have a tattoo, Yuiru’s currently published exception is limited to Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 11 p.m., and Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight. On the first three days, the ordinary last entry is 10 p.m.; Friday’s is 11 p.m. Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday and ordinary holidays are not listed as exception days. This is a date-sensitive policy, so confirm the operator’s notice before travelling.

Kirari’s bedrock room closes earlier than the baths. Weekday late pricing starts at 9 p.m.; last reception is 10:30 p.m., and the room closes at 11 p.m.

The ¥400 after-9-p.m. rate does not make a 10:30 arrival workable.

Leave time for the way back

Chitose and Shiraku are reachable on foot from Nambu Line stations. Kirari’s regular bus starts at Mizonokuchi Station, and Yuiru’s route starts at Kawasaki Station’s east exit. Late at night, the remaining train or bus schedule may matter more than a bath’s closing time.
