Osaka Sento around Kita and Fukushima: 11 Neighborhood Baths
Compare 11 sento in Osaka’s Kita and Fukushima wards by station, closing time and facilities. None is confirmed here as a natural hot spring.
Most of these bathhouses charge Osaka’s standard adult public-bath fare of ¥600 (about HK$30 / NT$122). The practical differences are where you are staying, how late you can arrive, and whether you want a dry or steam sauna, an outdoor bath, or simply a nearby place to wash up.

The hours above come from the association’s current facility listings, which are not all updated on the same day. Check the individual bathhouse before making a late-night trip, especially on holidays or when a listing notes extra closures.
Pick by neighborhood, not by the longest feature list
Around Nakazakicho, Hamura Onsen is the easy one to reach: it is a minute from Exit 4, and the outdoor bath changes its medicinal-bath theme over time. For Temma or Tenjinbashisuji, Rakutenchi stays open later than the other listed options. Its cold bath is described as natural water and soft water, which is not the same thing as a natural hot spring.
For the Noda-Hanshin and Ebie side, Yasaka has the widest mix of bathing options and both dry and steam saunas. Hinode has a different profile: its wet sauna is the draw if you prefer steam, and the bathhouse lists a cypress-chip bath on Saturdays and Sundays. Tatsumi’s weekday opening is much later than its weekend start, so it is worth checking the day before planning an afternoon visit.
Club Onsen needs extra care. Its association entry shows a closing time of “11:00 a.m.” alongside a 10:30 last-entry note. That may be a data error, but it is not safe to silently turn it into an 11 p.m. close. Call the bathhouse before going, particularly if you would arrive late.
For a late sauna, Rakutenchi stays open until 1:30 a.m.; Yasaka closes at 1 a.m. Rakutenchi gives you a dry sauna, outdoor bath and a cold bath described as natural water, while Yasaka has both dry and steam saunas and a broader mix of pools. That half-hour matters less than where you are sleeping: Temma and Tenroku fit Rakutenchi, while Noda-Hanshin and Ebie fit Yasaka. The side-by-side late-night comparison goes deeper on the two.
Some other useful matches are narrower. Shusse Onsen is an easy walk after the Umeda Sky Building and has a small outdoor bath; Koubai works after Osaka Tenmangu or the Tenjinbashisuji shopping street; Sakae-yu is a simple Noda-side evening bath. At Hinode, the cypress-chip bath is a weekend feature, whereas its wet sauna is the more regular draw. None of those labels—soft water, radon, carbonation or “natural water”—is enough to establish a natural hot spring without spring-analysis evidence.
“Onsen” in the name does not confirm spring water
The listed facilities have plenty of reasons to visit—soft water, medicinal baths, radon steam, carbonated baths and outdoor tubs—but those labels do not establish a natural spring source. The cited pages do not provide enough spring-analysis details to call any of these 11 a confirmed natural hot spring.
Tattoo policies are not consistent across a neighborhood. The association listings do not give a rule for every bathhouse, so contact the specific facility if admission depends on it. Sauna and towel charges can also differ from the basic ¥600 public-bath fare.
If you want a documented natural spring rather than a neighborhood sento, compare options in the Osaka day-onsen overview. For other late hours across the city, see the morning and late-night bath guide.
