Late-Night Baths in Fukuoka: What’s Still Open After Dinner?
Need a late Fukuoka soak? Fukunoyu Kasuga stays open latest; natural-spring Namiha no Yu closes earliest. Compare last entry with the bath’s closing time.
Late-night bathing comes down to two different clocks: when the last person can enter, and when the bath itself closes. For a soak after 11 p.m., Fukunoyu Kasuga is the straightforward option. Teriha Spa Resort’s main bath closes at 2 a.m., but its lounge remains open later for guests already in the building. Namiha no Yu has natural hot-spring water, though its last admission is 10:15 p.m.
| If you need… | Check… | Timing to know |
|---|---|---|
| A bath after 11 p.m. | Fukunoyu Kasuga | Last reception 2:30 a.m.; bathing ends 2:50 a.m. |
| A bath, then a place to remain until morning | Teriha Spa Resort | Bath until 2 a.m.; final admission 1 a.m.; lounge through 10 a.m., with a late-night charge after 3 a.m. |
| Natural hot-spring water near Hakata Bay | Namiha no Yu | Last admission 10:15 p.m.; bath closes at 11 p.m. |
Fukunoyu Kasuga: the latest bathing window
Fukunoyu Kasuga takes cash only, and towels cost extra. Its hours and adult rates are:
| Detail | Current information |
|---|---|
| Opening hours | 9 a.m.–3 a.m. |
| Last admission | 2:30 a.m. |
| Bathing ends | 2:50 a.m. |
| Adult admission | ¥850 weekdays; ¥900 weekends and public holidays |
This is the better fit when you simply want to bathe late. It is not a place to assume you can sleep until morning after the pools close. Check how you will get back to your accommodation as well: late opening hours do not mean city buses are still running.

Teriha Spa Resort: bathing and overnight waiting are separate
The main bath is open from 8 a.m. until 2 a.m. the following day, with final admission at 1 a.m. Several relaxation areas stay open until 10 a.m.; use after 3 a.m. incurs an additional late-night fee. That gives you somewhere to remain after an evening soak, but it does not extend bath hours or allow a new entry after reception closes.
If you are arriving from the airport or finishing a late meal, plan to reach the front desk well before 1 a.m. Then check the current course and late-night fee: basic bath admission and use of the extended relaxation areas are not necessarily the same ticket.
Teriha also offers a timed capsule space and separate overnight accommodation. The timed capsule has no bedding, and guests cannot leave and re-enter during the booking; it is a place to rest, not a hotel room. If you need a proper night’s sleep, compare the inn’s accommodation rather than assuming a spa course includes it. The spa’s baths are not listed as natural hot-spring water.
Namiha no Yu: arrive earlier for the natural spring
Namiha no Yu is the natural-spring option, but it closes earlier than the other two. Towels cost extra. Private-bath sessions last 90 minutes.
| Detail | Current information |
|---|---|
| Opening hours | 10 a.m.–11 p.m. |
| Last admission | 10:15 p.m. |
| Adult admission | ¥1,100 weekdays; ¥1,250 weekends and public holidays |
| Private-bath final reception | 9 p.m. |
The location by Hakata Port works well as an evening stop if you are already in the area. It is not a midnight option, and the bathing admission should not be confused with access to the private rooms or other facilities, each of which has its own last-entry time.
Fukunoyu Kasuga is also a regular bathing facility rather than a natural-spring option. Its cash-only payment rule and late-night entry restrictions for under-18s matter if you are travelling as a family. At all three venues, a late closing time is no help if you cannot get back afterwards: check the last bus or train, or include a taxi or overnight stay in the plan.
Before you set off
Leave time for changing and the trip back, not just the published last-admission cutoff. Each facility has its own entry rules; the original comparison notes tattoo restrictions at all three, but check the latest policy with the facility if that affects your choice. If you have a flight to catch, compare the final bus or train with the bath’s closing time before treating a spa as an airport waiting room.
