It has seven rooms, each with a semi-open-air bath and terrace, so there is no need to pay extra just to secure a room bath. The questions that matter more are age, arrival time and room capacity.
Five room names, one shared bathing feature
The five categories—Twin, Premium Twin, Superior Twin, Deluxe Twin and Suite—each have a private semi-open-air bath and terrace. The official room page lists rooms at about 40 square metres or larger, with two semi-double beds. Most take up to four adults; the Suite accommodates up to six. Choose it for the extra capacity, not because other categories lack a private bath.
The hotel describes itself as a small, quiet property and only accepts guests aged 13 or older. That is a firm exclusion for families travelling with younger children. It also has no large communal bathhouse to tour, so it is better suited to a private in-room soak than to guests who want a variety of public baths.
The lounge window is before dinner
Lounge free-flow is listed from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and includes Oita alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic options and snacks. Dinner is served at the hotel, and breakfast is an individual set meal rather than a buffet. Whether meals are included depends on the plan; confirm the booking details rather than treating the lounge or dinner as automatic inclusions.
If you expect to spend the whole day out and return late, the lounge is unlikely to add much value. Arriving earlier gives you time to use it before dinner and still enjoy the private bath afterward. Check-in starts at 3 p.m.; check-out is 10 a.m.
The hotel’s complimentary station shuttle runs on scheduled afternoon departures, but it must be requested by 3 p.m. on the day before arrival and can close when full. The English FAQ lists departures at 3, 3:30, 4, 4:30 and 5 p.m. Cash is not accepted, so bring a payment card or another supported cashless option.
