OYUGIWA Ebina: Is the Weekend Free-Time Ticket Worth ¥100 More?
Compare OYUGIWA Ebina’s ¥1,300 weekend two-hour ticket with its ¥1,400 free-time pass, plus weekday rates, bedrock baths and the current women’s sauna notice.
OYUGIWA Ebina is a neighbourhood bathing facility built for more than a quick soak: its baths sit alongside a sauna, optional bedrock-bath area, restaurant, manga shelves and an open courtyard. The ticket decision is simple on weekdays and more interesting on weekends. If you are likely to stay past two hours, the free-time admission costs only ¥100 more than the 120-minute plan.
The weekend ticket choice
On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and other dates designated by the facility, adults can choose between:
- ¥1,300 for 120 minutes, or
- ¥1,400 for the free-time plan.
The ¥100 difference buys a longer stay without the two-hour limit. It is easy to justify if you plan to eat, read manga or use the courtyard between bathing and sauna sessions. If your visit is a focused soak and you expect to leave within two hours, the cheaper ticket is enough.
| Weekday admission or add-on | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Adult admission | ¥1,100 | Basic bath entry |
| Child, ages 3–12 | ¥300 | Basic bath entry |
| Child under 3 | Free | Children still wearing diapers cannot use the baths |
| Bedrock-bath area | ¥650 | Includes a large towel and bedrock-bath clothing |
| Towel rental | ¥380 | Optional |
| Indoor clothing rental | ¥400 | Optional |
The bedrock bath and rentals are not included in basic admission.
The bath may be open after the other facilities close
| Facility | Hours | Last admission or order |
|---|---|---|
| Bathing area | 9 a.m.–1 a.m. | 12:30 a.m. |
| Restaurant | 10 a.m.–11 p.m. | Food orders 10:30 p.m. |
| Restaurant, drinks and desserts only | 10–11 a.m. | — |
| Relaxation services | — | Final reception 11 p.m. |
So a late bath is possible, but a late arrival is not a late dinner plan. If food matters, arrive well before last order. The facility says it is open year-round, while also advising guests to check notices for schedule changes.
A current sauna note for women
On September 25, 2026, the operator posted that the women’s sauna remained open but that loyly and aroma-water pours were temporarily suspended because of an equipment issue. The notice does not state a restoration date. If those sauna features are the reason for your visit, check the latest facility notice before setting out.
OYUGIWA offers bathing and relaxation facilities, but publishes no hot-spring source analysis. Its status as a natural onsen is unverified; this is a large bathing facility with no confirmed spring data.
The name can mislead on access
The Ebina branch is at 2-26-1 Kadosawabashi, not beside Ebina Station. Its operator lists JR Sagami Line’s Kadosawabashi Station as a ten-minute walk. Drivers have 130 free parking spaces. The station-to-bath walk is manageable with a day bag, but leave time for it if you are connecting from the Odakyu or Sotetsu lines at Ebina Station.
The facility does not admit guests with tattoos, tattoo stickers or similar body paint. It also does not allow food or drink brought from outside. Check its posted visitor rules if travelling with children or if a particular bathing restriction matters to you.
