Yuttari COco: A Yokohama Onsen with a Bookable Family Bath

Yuttari COco has a source-flowing public bath and bookable family bath. Check diaper rules, reservation slots and outdoor-bath closures through Dec. 2, 2026.

Yuttari COco is a useful choice when a group wants both a regular hot-spring bath and the option to bathe together in private. Its gender-separated public baths include a source-flowing natural spring, carbonated outdoor bath, sauna and several other water features. The separate family bath is the more important feature for parents with a child under three or still in diapers: those guests cannot use the public bathing area, including its locker rooms and showers.

One change affects late-autumn visits. From November 4 through December 2, 2026, the facility plans to close some outdoor baths during exterior repairs. The men’s carbonated bath and reclining bath will be closed; on the women’s side, those two baths plus the milky bath will be unavailable. The notice does not say that the family bath will close, but check with the facility before building a visit around it.

The fee page and dedicated family-bath page show the prices above. The homepage still carries older family-bath rates of ¥3,300 on weekdays and ¥4,400 on weekends. Confirm the checkout total before paying, and ask how children under three are charged; the standard fee table starts at age three.

The family bath can be used by diaper-wearing children. Each booking is followed by cleaning and a full water change. Towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are supplied, and guests can request a baby bath, baby mat or bath chair when reserving. The bath is described as large enough for a family of four, but the current page does not give a formal maximum occupancy.

Booking rules are part of the plan

The general fee page still describes phone reservations, while the dedicated page directs advance bookings online. Use the live booking page or call if the method is unclear.

The bath is not an exception to the facility’s general entry policy. Guests with tattoos, body art, paint or tattoo stickers are refused entry; the posted rules do not list a cover-up exception. Children under 16 cannot enter on their own. The facility also asks high-school students visiting without an adult to leave by 10 pm, and guests under 18 to leave by 11 pm. Elementary-school children and children at least 120 cm tall cannot use the opposite-gender locker room or bath.

What the spring and bathing areas offer

The men’s and women’s public baths each have a source-flowing spring drawn from about 1,503 metres underground. The posted bath-water temperature is 41°C in summer and 42.5°C in winter. The facility lists a separate high-concentration carbonated bath outdoors, massage baths, a daily-changing herbal bath and reclining baths. These are distinct features; the operator does not label every tub as the same source-flowing spring.

The private bath has its own source record: Yokohama Onsen, a sodium-chloride spring with a source temperature of 42.5°C. The facility says it adds no water but heats the spring water. That source figure is not a promise that every bath is maintained at 42.5°C. Its sauna offering includes dry and steam rooms, with cold baths and outdoor cooling areas. Availability can change with maintenance, so check the operator’s notice if a specific bath is essential.

There is also a stone-bath area for ¥650, including the robe and mat; admission is separate. It is unavailable during hot-yoga class periods, so ask about the day’s schedule if you plan to use it. This add-on, lounge spaces and restaurant make the complex workable as a longer visit, though the ticket does not bundle every extra.

Getting there and making time for the visit

Yuttari COco is on the third floor of Kohoku Minamo. Center-Kita Station is about a five-minute walk away; Center-Minami is about seven minutes. Neither route depends on a limited-seat shuttle, which is useful if you are already in northern Yokohama. From central Yokohama, the Yokohama day-use onsen guide compares it with nearer station-side options.

The baths are open from 10 am to midnight, with last admission at 11 pm. The regular monthly closure is the first Wednesday. The complex has a large car park; Yuttari COco validates up to three free hours for spa users. After that, parking is ¥150 per 30 minutes, and the garage has a 2.3-metre height limit. Add more time if you plan to use the restaurant, relaxation areas or stone bath.

For a quick soak beside a railway exit, Manten no Yu has the simpler station-to-bath route. If a bookable family bath is the deciding factor, Yuttari COco offers a specific answer—but only if you reserve a slot and budget for both the private-bath fee and everyone’s admission.
