COCOFURO Music Sauna: Takanoyu or Kagayokujo?
Compare Takanoyu and Kagayokujo in Tokyo: sauna prices, music and silent sessions, cold-bath depth, opening hours and station walks.
The choice between COCOFURO Takanoyu and Kagayokujo usually comes down to location and the sauna rhythm you want. Both pair a regular public-bath admission with a separate sauna fee, offer a deep cold plunge and run music-led heat sessions. Takanoyu is the easy stop on the Keikyu Line; Kagayokujo lets you switch between music and silent sessions on a half-hour pattern.

These are separate admission and rental costs, not a packaged ticket. Both bathhouses list adult admission at ¥600, the Tokyo public-bath rate effective August 1, 2026.
With a towel set, the total is ¥1,080 at Takanoyu or ¥1,190 at Kagayokujo for bath, sauna and towels.
Choose the stop that fits your route
Takanoyu is the more convenient option for a day around Kamata, Shinagawa, Haneda or the Keikyu Line. Two minutes from Zoshiki Station, it keeps the walk short and the sauna supplement lower. Kagayokujo makes more sense if your itinerary is already in Oji, Akabane or Tokyo’s north side. The walk from Oji is longer and climbs a slope, so the ¥100 difference in sauna cost should not decide the trip by itself.
Kagayokujo has a clear schedule if you want to avoid music: the silent session starts at :15 and :45. Steam and strong airflow still happen, so it is not a cooler or gentler version. Takanoyu is simpler to time—its music auto-aufguss runs about every 20 minutes—but there is no silent-session option listed.
Know what the baths are—and are not
Neither facility has its own natural spring source: Takanoyu has hot, carbonated and cold baths, while Kagayokujo adds Okuhida hot-spring mineral deposits to Hana-no-yu. Both cold baths are about 90 cm deep; that figure is the depth, not the water temperature.
Takanoyu’s hot pool is listed at 43–45°C. If you are sensitive to very hot water, that is a practical reason to choose another bathhouse, regardless of the low sauna supplement. Kagayokujo’s 90 cm plunge requires care when entering, particularly after the heat cycle.
Both are public sento rather than overnight spas. They are open 6 a.m.–midnight, with last entry at 11:30 p.m.; neither offers a standard large-luggage storage service. Regular closing days differ: Takanoyu closes on the third Thursday in March, May, September and November; Kagayokujo closes on the third Tuesday in those months.
