Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club: Free Footbath, Onsen Fees and the Overnight Catch
Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai’s eighth-floor footbath is free; the Manyo Club spa starts at ¥4,000. Check bath hours before planning an overnight stay.
You do not need to buy a spa ticket just to see the bayfront footbath at Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai. The public eighth-floor garden is free to enter and uses hot-spring water transported from Hakone and Yugawara. Pay to enter Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club when you also want the large baths, outdoor bath, towels, indoor wear and a place to rest for several hours.
Start with the free footbath
There are two footbath areas that are easy to confuse. The public “Senkyaku Banrai Ashiyu Garden” on the eighth floor is free for visitors. The rooftop observation footbath inside Manyo Club is for paying guests and is part of the spa visit. Both draw on hot-spring water transported from Hakone and Yugawara.
If you are already visiting Toyosu Market for food and want a place to sit with a view, the public footbath may be enough. The paid rooftop area makes more sense as part of a longer stop that also includes bathing and the lounge facilities.
What the basic ticket includes
The regular adult “Marutoku Set” costs ¥3,850, plus a ¥150 bathing tax for adults aged 12 and over. That makes the usual starting total ¥4,000. The ticket includes bathing, a yukata, bath and hand towels, and access to common facilities such as the lounge and the club’s observation footbath. Shampoo and basic amenities are provided.
The charge is easier to justify if you plan to stay for a few hours: arrive after an event, bathe, change, eat or rest, then leave later. For a short soak alone, the free footbath plus a lower-cost neighbourhood sento may suit better. Guests who need only a morning bath can use the 5–9 a.m. morning plan, currently ¥2,200 plus the ¥150 bathing tax for adults.
“Open 24 hours” does not mean bathing all night
The building operates around the clock, but the large public bath closes for cleaning from 3 to 5 a.m. The changing room is unavailable from 3:30 to 5 a.m.
Guests who remain inside after 3 a.m. pay an additional ¥3,000 late-night fee. With basic admission and bathing tax, the adult total is about ¥7,000. If you plan to sleep there, it is usually simpler to bathe before the cleaning window and use the rest area overnight.
There is also a scheduled maintenance change from October 6 to 9, 2026: the public baths are set to close for cleaning from 1:30 to 5 a.m., with the changing area closed from 2 to 5 a.m. Check the operator’s notice if your visit falls on those dates.
Natural spring water, transported to Toyosu
The hot spring water comes from Hakone and Yugawara and is transported to the facility daily. Toyosu is not using a spring drilled beneath the building. The current public information does not provide a complete analysis for each delivery batch or every treatment detail for each bath, so historic figures from either source area should not be presented as a single current Toyosu water profile.
Tattoo, age and couple rules
Guests with tattoos may enter only if their tattoos can be fully covered with up to two of the facility’s cover seals, each no larger than 11 by 20 centimetres. The seals must remain on throughout the stay, not only in the bathing area. Seals are sold at the front desk. Under-18 high-school students cannot enter without a parent or guardian.
The public baths are separated by gender. Couples and friends can meet in shared spaces such as the rooftop footbath, restaurants and lounges. A separate day-use plan with a private hot-spring room is available at a higher price; it is a different booking, not part of standard admission.
Getting there
Market-mae Station on the Yurikamome line is the most direct stop, with Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai connected to the station on foot. A free shuttle from Shimbashi ended on May 31, 2026, so older directions that still recommend it are out of date. The facility continues to list a shuttle from Monzen-nakacho; check the current schedule and capacity before relying on it.
For a broader comparison of large city spas, see Tokyo’s large day-use onsen guide. The newer-facility comparison also places Toyosu alongside Kakeinoyu and Haneda’s Izumi Tenku no Yu.
