Spa LaQua in Tokyo Dome City: Night Rates, Hot Springs and Sauna Hours
Check Spa LaQua’s date-based entry price, ¥2,500 late-night fee, natural spring baths and separate sauna closing times before visiting Tokyo Dome City.
Adult admission starts at ¥3,500, varies by date and includes towels and in-house wear. A ¥2,500 late-night fee applies from 1–6 a.m.
Spa LaQua makes the most sense after a Tokyo Dome event or when you want to spend several hours bathing, resting and eating in one place. It has a genuine spring drawn beneath Tokyo Dome City, several saunas and shared lounges. It is also one of the more expensive ways to take a bath in Tokyo, so check the day’s rate before building it into a short stop.
Start with the date and the time you plan to leave
Adult admission varies by date. Use the calendar rate as the starting point, then add any extras that match your visit.
| Item | Price or hours |
|---|---|
| Adult admission | ¥3,500–¥4,700 on recent 2026 calendar dates |
| Night-rate discount after 7 p.m. | ¥1,000 off that day’s admission |
| Healing Bade (ages 18+) | ¥1,100 extra |
| Stay between 1 and 6 a.m. | ¥2,500 late-night surcharge |
| Spa closing / final admission | 9 a.m. / 8 a.m. |
| Indoor baths close / outdoor baths close | 8:30 a.m. / 7:30 a.m. |
The basic ticket includes a towel set and rental in-house wear. The late-night surcharge is added even if you entered on the discounted Night rate.
The facility has announced a scheduled closure from October 5–9, 2026. Check both the current calendar and notices, especially around event dates.
A local spring, but not a flow-through bath
LaQua’s amber-coloured spring is called Koishikawa Onsen and rises from about 1,700 metres below Tokyo Dome City. It is a strong sodium-chloride spring. The outdoor natural-spring pools include a milder bath at about 38°C and a hotter one around 43°C. The source water is heated and recirculated through filtration, so it is not source-fed flow-through bathing.
The bath areas are separated by gender. The sauna selection also differs: the men’s side has several dry sauna rooms, while the women’s side includes a mist sauna and Finnish-style sauna. Some rooms close at 2 a.m.; others remain open until 8:30 a.m. If you arrive near closing, check the specific sauna hours rather than assuming every room stays open as long as the spa.
A practical fit for Tokyo Dome City
Korakuen Station is about a minute away, Kasuga about two, and JR Suidobashi around six. That is handy after a baseball game, concert or a full afternoon around the Dome. For a simple natural-spring bath at public-sento prices, LaQua is overkill; its value is in the larger mix of baths, towels, lounges, dining and longer opening hours.
There are a couple of firm limits to know before arriving. Children aged 0–5 are not admitted. Guests aged 6–17 need a guardian; those aged 6–11 must be accompanied by a guardian of the same sex, and under-18s must leave by 6 p.m. The rules also bar entry for tattoos, body paint and tattoo stickers. There is no re-entry after leaving, so finish your Dome City plans first.
For another long-stay facility in Tokyo’s bay area, compare Izumi Tenku no Yu in Ariake. It has its own natural spring too, but its bath-cleaning gap and late-night charges work differently.
