What the regular ticket covers
The bath areas have indoor and outdoor pools, a cooler “Beauty Bath,” massage-style baths, a far-infrared sauna and a cold plunge. Men’s and women’s bathing floors switch every Tuesday, so the layout depends on your visit date. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided at the washing stations.

Current prices and opening hours
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Adult (junior high school age and up) | ¥940 |
| Child (age three through elementary school) | ¥470 |
| Small towel, purchase | ¥230 |
| Bath towel, rental | ¥150 |
| Private lounge, per room | ¥1,200 per hour |
The current adult price took effect on June 1, 2026. Some tourism listings still show the previous ¥880 rate, so use the operator’s current price page when budgeting. Children under three are not listed in the child fare category; contact the facility if you need to confirm its current admission rule for a younger child.
Normal hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with last admission at 6 p.m. Thursday is the regular closing day, although holiday periods and maintenance can change the schedule. The operator’s notices have, for example, moved a closure to another weekday during the Obon period. Check the date-specific notice before making the drive.
There is a large tatami rest hall at no extra charge. An eight-tatami private lounge is available for ¥1,200 per room per hour. There is no restaurant or café inside the facility; a nearby Italian restaurant and other local businesses are separate venues with their own opening hours. If you are planning to stay for several hours, sort out lunch before you arrive.
The private family baths are not bookable at present
The price page still shows an old add-on rate of ¥1,500 per hour for a family bath. The same page says family baths are suspended for the time being, and the bathing page also marks them unavailable. Treat the service as closed unless the operator announces that it has reopened; the retained price is not confirmation that you can reserve a room.
That matters particularly for visitors who need a private bath for a small child, care assistance or another reason to avoid communal bathing. Hanabijin no Sato’s public baths may work well for the rest of the group, but they are not a substitute for a bookable family room.
Getting to Hanabijin no Sato
By car, the facility is about 25 minutes from Innosho Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway. It has parking for roughly 100 cars. From JR Tsuyama Station, the bus journey to Okutsu takes around 55 minutes, according to the operator.
The bus makes a no-car visit possible, but that headline journey time is not a workable itinerary on its own. The direct route information available from the bus operator is older than its more recently revised Tsuyama-area network information, and local service is limited compared with a city route. Check the timetable for your travel date, including the return from Okutsu, before setting out. Last admission is at 6 p.m.; arriving near closing time leaves little room if the return bus is infrequent.
For a broader day out, pair the bath with another stop in Kagamino or the Okutsu area rather than treating it as a quick dip from Okayama City. Travellers comparing different kinds of Okayama bathing can also look at the Yubara Onsen day-trip guide or the Sunayu river-bath guide. If you are comparing source records with actual bath conditions, see the guide to reading onsen spring-quality information.
