Minoh Spa Garden Reopens on October 1, 2026: New Prices and Hours

Minoh Spa Garden is scheduled to reopen on October 1, 2026. Check its new admission prices and confirm opening time, which differs across official pages.

Minoh Spa Garden has been closed since March 2025 and is due to reopen on October 1, 2026, alongside the relaunch of the adjoining hotel as Premium Minoh Kanko Hotel. The reopen date and new price table are now published by the operator. Older pages showing pre-closure admission prices are still online, so they should not be used to budget for a visit after reopening.

New admission prices from October 1

Rock-bath rooms require a separate ticket:

The area has five rooms, which suits a longer stay. Skip the add-on for a quick soak.

Hours are not consistent across the operator’s pages

The current Spa Garden homepage lists 09:00–23:45, with last entry at 22:45. Its separate visitor guide and onsen page still state 10:00–23:45, also with last entry at 22:45. The sources agree on the closing time and last entry, but not on opening. Until the operator reconciles those pages, do not plan around the earlier 09:00 entry without confirming directly.

What is included—and what is separate

The shared baths use a sodium bicarbonate-chloride spring. The operator states that the bath water is diluted, heated and circulated through filtration. There are also relaxation areas and paid facilities, so Spa Garden is better suited to an extended visit than a quick dip.

The public baths are the Red Fuji Bath and the spacious Hyakunin Bath, with men’s and women’s use alternating by day. The spring is described as a sodium bicarbonate–chloride spring, but the operator does not publish the source temperature, pH or flow rate in the cited visitor information. Do not fill those gaps with a number from another Minoh facility.

Day-use admission covers the Spa Garden’s public bath area and its on-site entertainment and rest spaces. The Sky Open-Air Bath at the top of the adjoining hotel is a hotel-guest facility, not an extra included with an ordinary day ticket. If that rooftop bath is the reason you are coming, book the hotel rather than assuming the spa ticket grants access.

The private family bath is an add-on and is not a natural hot spring. It costs ¥3,850 for two hours, with extensions charged separately. Reservations are accepted in person after entering the facility; advance phone or online bookings are not accepted. If private bathing is the point of the visit, include both the entry ticket and the separate bath fee in your budget.

The two-hour booking includes a private changing/rest room, with basic amenities such as shampoo and body wash. Same-day booking happens at the bathhouse after entry, so availability is not guaranteed, especially on a busy date. The facility is designed for families and couples who want privacy; do not mistake the private tub for a natural-spring bath, as the operator explicitly says it is not onsen water.

Tattooed guests are generally not admitted. The operator’s guide allows an exception only when tattoos are fully covered by its designated paid cover stickers, within the stated size and quantity limits. Check the current conditions before travelling if this rule affects your plans.

Getting there

The Spa Garden is about a five-minute walk from Hankyu Minoh Station. The operator also lists free parking for day visitors for up to six hours, provided the parking validation is handled at reception. For a broader list of operating facilities, see the Osaka day-use onsen guide and compare hours and admission for your actual date rather than relying on pre-closure Spa Garden prices.

There is also a free shuttle from Minoh-Kayano Station, roughly a 20-minute ride; check the operator’s current timetable and stop location. On the day you visit, bring the parking ticket to reception for validation. The six-hour free allowance is not all-day parking, so set a reminder if you plan to use the baths, rock rooms, meals and entertainment together.

The reopening date changes the answer

The operator’s current notice schedules reopening for October 1, 2026. As of September 30, the facility is still closed; September plans should use an operating alternative such as Minoh Yumoto Suisyun. Tomorrow’s reopening is the first date for the new prices, so the former ¥1,813 ticket is historical and should not be used as a budget figure.

For a same-day comparison with Suisyun, expect a different kind of outing. Spa Garden costs more and gives you more ways to spend time on site; Suisyun has a lower admission, opens early on weekends and publishes its spring data. The Minoh comparison guide lays out the trade-offs.

Tattoos are not generally accepted. The narrow exception is the operator’s designated paid cover sticker, which must fully conceal tattoos and meet the facility’s size and quantity limits; ordinary tape, clothing or a visitor’s own cover sticker is not a substitute. Check the current visitor rules before travelling.
