Heiwajima Natural Onsen: Day Passes and the Haneda Airport Bus

Compare Heiwajima’s day passes and ¥5,000 Haneda shuttle plans, including their different extras, terminal stops and overnight bath closures.

Natural Onsen Heiwajima is built for a longer stop: soak, use the rest areas, eat, and—if the timing fits—take a shuttle to or from Haneda. The airport package is the detail to plan around. Both the outbound Flight course and inbound Welcome course cost ¥5,000 for adults, but only the Flight course includes bedrock bathing; Welcome includes breakfast instead.

Match the ticket to your stop

VisitAdult priceIncluded time or conditions
Weekday quick bath¥1,400One hour, towel included
Standard weekday¥2,400Up to seven hours; towel and in-house wear included
Weekend or holiday¥2,900Up to seven hours; towel and in-house wear included
Haneda Flight or Welcome course¥5,000Shuttle-linked overnight plan; reserve online

Going past the seven-hour plan costs ¥400 per extra hour. Staying between 1 and 5 a.m. also incurs a ¥1,900 overnight surcharge unless you have booked the relevant airport plan. The one-hour ticket is meant for a quick visit nearby, not a cheap way to wait through the night.

Flight starts at 4 p.m. and includes admission, the late-night fee, in-house wear, towels and bedrock-bath access until 10 p.m. Welcome starts with the Haneda Terminal 3 shuttle and lets you stay until 2 p.m.; it includes towels, in-house wear and breakfast, while bedrock bathing costs extra. Check the current booking terms, since a bus seat and a day-pass entry are not the same thing.

The airport timetable has a terminal catch

The Flight shuttle leaves the spa at 3:10, 4:40 or 5:50 a.m. The earliest bus goes only to Terminal 3. The 4:40 and 5:50 services continue to Terminals 2 and 1. Welcome pickups leave Terminal 3 at 12:40, 1:40 or 2:40 a.m.; the published schedule does not list pickups at the other terminals. If your flight uses a different terminal, allow time to transfer before relying on the bus.

These are web-booking plans, so reserve ahead for a flight connection. If you arrive after online reservations close, the facility says same-day service may be possible when seats remain, but that is not a safe assumption for a tight departure.

An overnight visit is not uninterrupted bathing

The building operates around the clock, but the two main bathing zones alternate cleaning. Viewing Spa closes 2:30–6 a.m.; Shining Spa closes 6–9:30 a.m. Bedrock bathing runs 10 a.m.–10 p.m. A 3 a.m. arrival, for example, does not give you access to both bath areas at once.

From JR Omori Station, the walk is about 23 minutes; from Keikyu Heiwajima, around 14. The ¥100 local bus is usually the simpler last leg—about 10 minutes from Omori and three from Heiwajima Station. If you are comparing airport-side bathing options, the Ariake spring spa is a different fit: it works best after an event in the bay area, not as a Haneda transfer plan.

The facility generally refuses guests with tattoos, but allows entry when its own cover stickers—up to four—fully conceal them. Each sticker is ¥260. Children under three may not use the shared baths and should use a baby bath; mixed bathing is not allowed for children aged seven or older or over 120 cm tall.
